I was a little upset last night.

Not the entire night though, just during particular moments.

I hate explaining Takki to people who know absolutely nothing about him. I hate it that my old friends heard so much about my obsession about Takki that they start asking me about him not because they're SINCERELY CURIOUS about him but just because they find it amusing. Sure I find my Takki life verrrrry amusing, hell, it keeps me happy everyday, but their "amusing" seems to be a little different. It's like... "oh it's so shallow it's damn amusing. I wanna know more about it. Tell me, tell me just how shallow you are so I can feel smarter." Every question they toss at me sounds like there's an underlying *sniggering* tone that's usually present in conversations regarding the supposedly very shallow subject of *ahem* boybands.

I hate the fact that everytime a question is asked to me about Takki puts me in a spot where I become vulnerable to hidden insults that are ready to pop out any moment.

No, celle, don't worry, am honestly not talking about you, you know that! xD xD But did you notice that it wasn't until they asked me the THIRD TIME that I finally opened the magazine to show them Takki?

Yeah, that's coz I didn't really want to put my Takki out there for them to use as a scratching post *meowrrrr* -_-''' I think I'm very selective nowadays with who I share my Takki thoughts with. Reminder to self, next time keep your magazines out of sight. The only reason I had it with me yesterday was because I was gonna be the first one to arrive so I had it with me to read while waiting at Starbucks before we headed up to Cilantro.

They asked again upstairs when we're at the table. I just pretended I didn't hear the question. Then they asked again at the end of dinner, and I'm like, oh what the heck. And since it was an unclear pic of Takki in Poporo, I tossed out black-haired Takki from my wallet too.

You'd think I've gotten used to all this. I should. But I'm really not. It's a little upsetting sometimes. No, not just a little, it's MAJORLY upsetting. It's like, I know I think about Takki 24-7 but to keep on rubbing it on my face made it sound like sneering sort of. I hate it. I completely hate it. Well, OK, maybe she didn't mean to make fun or whatever but just the fact that she tries to bring up Tackey & Tsubasa in EVERY OTHER TOPIC of conversation just sounds so... unnatural and insincere -_-''' it's almost as if she thinks I'm incapable of being interested in anything else than Tackey & Tsubasa!

In the previous dinner, I introduced her to this other friend who never met the group, and the first question asked to my other friend was, "So did you go with Mel to see Tackey & Tsubasa in Thailand?"

Sure it's a good ice-breaker.... for them!!! Why don't you bag me into a sandbag and use me for kickboxing practice already? And of course they started talking about it and then asking me questions again about Takki and of course there's a lot of the word "CRAZY" used in several sentences. And every single time I'm just like HA... HA... HA... *wide grin* HA... HA... HA.... *wider grin* If I wanted to be blatantly dramatic and brutally honest, I'd slam my fist on the table, stand up and leave. Yes, that's how much it bugs me. It really really bugs me. What bugs me the most is not because it's not true, well, I don't deny that my head is TAKKI TAKKI TAKKI 24-7 (like, literally), but it's the BELITTLING TONE that bugs me like HELL!!!!!!! RARRRR!!!!! I feel like I wanna break something right now! RARRRRR!!!!

I just wish that if my friends aren't truly, sincerely interested or sincerely curious about Takki (and I don't mean curious so you can bash him), I'd rather they just don't . ask . at . all . Don't ask just to make me happy. Don't ask as an act of basa-basi or some psychological trick to "click" with me or to get on my good side. I'd reallllyyy rather talk about the el nino than to talk about Takki when that's the case. Because they ask, and then I explain one thing and they start laughing.

Oh that's Junno from KAT-TUN. He's Takki's junior/kouhai.

"Heeeh? Junior? You mean the entire group is called Takki & Tsubasa? And there's Takki senior too? HA... HA... HA..."

That's my cue to stop explaining. If people just won't open their mind just 0.0000001 mm wider just to hear what an extremely INTERESTING phenomena the entire Johnny's Jimusho history is (well, they have a DOCUMENTARY!), then so be it. Let them be narrow-minded and think they're just... uh... boybands, and nothing more. Fine. I don't need their approval.

Damn, I wish the Johnny's Film Festa would make it to the DISCOVERY CHANNEL or something!!!!!! Yeah, dream on nere..... -_-'''

So there, I got it out of my system. Maybe you won't see this rant anymore later on tonight... I don't know if I'm gonna keep it here or just edit it out later but I just had to put it out right now.

ドラマを見ました! イェイイイ~! お楽しみで見ましたですよ！ ☆~（＾。＾）
Lalalalala~ seriously, if it wasn't for finally being able to watch this dorama... I would've started my entry with "I WAS UPSET BEYOND COMPREHENSION LAST NIGHT!" instead of "I was a little upset last night." xD xD xD The frustrating thing was not being able to extract it out for copying because there's a write protect on it that I still haven't figured out to go "around" x((((( But OK...... about the dorama itself......

OK, to be honest... I didn't cry. I didn't think it was groundbreaking. I didn't think it was that deep. Yes, it was touching. Takki delivered quite a performance in looking extremely "TORTURED"... I swear, his eyebrows never looked so ARCHED!!!!! xD xD xD xD xD It's like the whole 2 hours, he was just... FROWNING!!!

But oh my lordy... Fang was right ALL THE WAY. For non-Takki fans, I'd completely understand if it will PUT YOU TO SLEEP LOL!!! But for Takki fans like me.... dude, who the fuck CARES about the plot when you can gawk at TWO FULL HOURS of such beautiful SARA SARA HAIR!!!!!!!!!

I *LOVE* THE WAY HE LOOKED!!!
I was watching it from 1 AM til 3 AM and I was surprised that I managed to stay AWAKE but I think what kept me awake and going was the WILL POWER to stay awake to gawk at his sara sara hair....... and his arms... (which miraculously looked bigger again this time around--I still don't understand how his arms inflate and deflate like so... one day it's stick thin, one day it's WHOA, GOVERNOR SCHWARZENEGGER! And the next day oooh it's back to stick thin again! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT YO? Any scientific explanation for that???) xD xD xD

God, he looks so DAMN gorgeous!!!! ♥

And the fact that his character is a musician (despite that he's a very poor and deprived musician) supposedly makes him more laid-back in character deshou? Therefore, his costumes are all those casual t-shirts, tanktops, baggy cargo pants.... ah~ Kyouhei *heart heart heart* He just looks very boyish in this dorama. AH~ HE LOOKS SOSOSOSOSOSOOOO GOOD!!!!!! I can't describe just how glad I feel that I'm able to actually see this dorama THIS SOON! It's like, I've been following the production news, reading articles about it, seeing the photos of him in those costumes that I saw in the dorama... and just knowing that this is the MOST RECENT HIM.... I can't describe how I feel when I'm watching the dorama. It's sort of silly but it makes you feel close to him, sort of. It's like... missing him since Thailand and finally, I can see him again [in live motion]... T____T *cries*

I think the story portrays the concept of "YUME" (dream) pretty well. I'm just a little disappointed at the production, the camera views, the shoot quality... and the fact that they can't even get Yamazaki Tsutomu-san to actually look like he's ACTUALLY COMPOSING REAL MUSIC instead of just poking on the same four keys repeatedly throughout the entire 2-hour dorama everytime he sits in front of the piano!!! I'm just very detail-oriented so when little detail flaws are visible, it slowly just takes little by little of my INVOLVEMENT in the story out. Like the fact that the father does NOT look like he's composing a song just bugs me. The fact that when he's writing the song, he's not actually writing the notes onto the paper but he's actually just adding the poles to the dots that were supposedly the head of the notes that are ALREADY pre-written in the entire music sheet....!!! DETAILS, DETAILS, PEOPLE!!!!! *LOL!* And then musician Kyouhei sits in front of the piano and bangs on the same four unmelodic notes again like a non-musician!!!! AIYOOO~~~~ Maybe they're trying to really make it look like as if the father had entirely NO TALENT AT ALL yet he keeps holding on to his dream that he will finish writing a song? Maybe....

But now I understand what the TITLE means... 「父の海、僕の空」... [ Chichi no umi = My father's OCEAN, Boku no sora = My SKY ] And it's actually quite a touching meaning when you think about it....

Why is it called "My father's OCEAN, My SKY"??? I first thought it was something like... hmmm... because ocean and sky meets at the horizon, that's what I thought the connection was. But the story is like this...

When he was younger, Kyouhei (Takki's character) dropped out of highschool, moved out from his home to pursue a career as a guitarist (musician). But the dream became an emptier dream as for some reason, he lived such a hard life, with no money, no recording deal, no work, and he finally had to sell his one and only precious guitar to be able to pay his rent.

In the peak of his frustration, he returned home... just to pass his house in which he had left long ago. He didn't intend to knock on his father's door when coincidentally, his father called him on the phone. His father didn't know that Kyouhei was standing right outside during the phonecall. I think the underlying true motive of the phonecall was that his father had wanted to tell Kyouhei that he is terribly ill, but he decided not to. And Kyouhei didn't want to admit that he's been living like a useless bum with no career and no work and no talent. He told his father that he's currently very busy that he can't come home, and he's going to record his song soon. When his father asked him what his song is called... Kyouhei (who didn't have a song at that time) looked up in the sky, and he replied, "It's called [ Sora ]." (Sora = Sky).

There was a woman who lived with his father after his mother died. I'm not sure what kind of a relationship they had, but they were not married. Neither did they seem romantically involved. It's more like a caring kind of love. But Kyouhei doesn't seem to like this woman at all. Perhaps it's because he feels that the woman is a replacement of his mother? Not so sure, I didn't understand 100% of the dorama.

Anyway, just as Kyouhei hung up the phone and turned around, he found himself standing face to face with that woman who lived with his father (I forgot her name). Because Kyouhei refused to go in to see his father, they went somewhere to sit down and talk. This was where she told him that his father was suffering from a brain tumor/cancer.

It came to a point where they discovered that even surgery can't help his father anymore, and that he's only awaiting time. Therefore, the woman suggested that Kyouhei move back home since he was also very broke anyways LOL! And it was during his stay at home that we discover the fact that his father is writing a song. I believe that he was writing a song in dedication to Kyouhei's dead mother, because the mother really liked this one song... from the CD cover that was on top of the stereo that was played, it says Camille Saint-Saens, but for some reason... what I remember of the tune (need to rewatch it again) it sounded more like Schumann's Traümerei yo!!!! xD xD xD (is this another boo boo? WAKAKAKAKKA~) Actually, the song that his father wrote turned out to sound like Traümerei, but now I can't remember the song that the dead mother loves. Yappari, have to watch it again tonight. LOL!

And turns out that the song which his father was composing was titled [ Umi ] (Umi = sea/ocean).

Ahaaa~~~~ you get it now? So it's "My father's OCEAN, My SKY" as in both their song titles.

His father did manage to finish his song before his death, and he actually sort of dedicated the song to the woman. When he finished writing the song, he asked the woman to draw the last closing bar on the music sheet together with him. And they managed to get the cellist & pianist whom Kyouhei's dead mother loved so much to play his song. During the performance of the song, the father was holding that woman's hand... and I think after the whole thing, Kyouhei managed to accept the woman's existence in his father's life or something. Also, previously, when the father's condition was starting to deteriorate in the hospice center that he was admitted into, he gave Kyouhei money to buy back the precious guitar that he had sold. So after his father's death, Kyouhei swore that he will repay every cent that his father had given him to reclaim his guitar (by making his dream a reality... which is, I suppose, to actually write a song called "SORA"?)

So the story really is an ironic contrast between father and son. In which both are composers, both share a similar dream. One is young and very much alive, yet he lacks the spirit to pursue his dreams. While the other is old and very much dying, yet his will to pursue his dreams became stronger than ever as he's nearing his time of death. And so seeing his father's undying spirit, Kyouhei swears that he will continue living his father's dream with his life. (Or something like that...) T___T

But I honestly think it's a good story. Maybe it's the fact that it's very realistic is what makes it seem boring (and the little boo boo details LOL) xD It's very realistic in a sense that sometimes, when you realize that a closed loved one is dying or something, you go into pure denial and you live your life pretending like it's not true. That's what Kyouhei was pretty much kinda going through. Until you are confronted with the reality, then it hits you. Like when it was portrayed in the scene where Kyouhei walks into the bathroom and sees his father vomiting blood. And instead of coming to his father's aid, he turns away because he doesn't want to see it. When he returns back to the bathroom, the sink was clean because his father had cleaned it up so that no one sees it. But as Kyouhei found one leftover drop of blood... he went completely berserk just to wipe it away because the presence of it reminds him of the fact that his father is really sick and dying.

The way Takki presents Kyouhei is quite moving. But again, can I just point out his SARA SARA HAIR!!!! SARA SARA HAIR!!!! SARA SARA HAIR!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TAKKI YOU GORGEOUS THING YOU!!!!!!! I WUUUUUVVVVVV YOUUUUUUUUUUU MWACKS MWACKS MWACKS MWACKKKKKSSSSSSSSSS *SCHLURPPPPPPPP~* Ah... gomen... thats a little bit of SARA SARA HAIR obsession getting out of control for a moment there... but anyway, I do think that both actors (Takki & Yamazaki-san) delivered a moving performance, but I just think that the dorama itself is packaged in a way that makes it seem a little bit BLAND... and I totally did not expect that they didn't show the moment the father died. It was just suddenly after his death... Kyouhei was looking at the sky or something...... -_-'''

So Kyouhei didn't shed a single tear in this dorama yo. I did not expect that he did not have a single weeping scene! And yet in his previous Takizawa Rengou he mentioned that lately his tear glands were quite loose!!!! And I thought he was talking about him crying for some scene in this dorama??? But there was NONE!!!!!! o_O''''

So................ was Takki crying over something else (aside that Arashi tearjerker moment?) o_O? Takki daijoubu?

Well, thats my thoughts over the dorama.... But I do honestly believe that its not any of the actor's performance that was at fault. It was truly the way the dorama was packaged. And well, tscheh... despite that it's not that great or anything, if we're Takki fans, no questions ask we MUST see it deshou? xD xD xD

Went to pick up a copy of Weekly Television last night at Kino... and lookie!!! A clearer view of the utterly-bishounen Yoshitsune-san himself!!! I could go on and on and on and on and on and on about just how BEAUTIFUL he looks yo....... seriously... I think he looks sooooo beautiful as Yoshitsune, particularly in this shot... coz in the previous one with Ishihara Satomi, he looked chotto... er... strange! LOL... But here... *sigh* Classic beauty, thats what!

I don't know about you... but now that we're starting to see him portraying Yoshitsune... everytime I see him, I feel so proud of him... xD xD xD Yes, yes, I know it sounds very silly! I sound like I'm his mother or something, but truly, there's no other feeling in which I could describe what I'm feeling more perfectly than to call it a sense of utter PRIDE... I'm just so proud to be idolizing such an amazing human being! T_____________T

Which is why I am sooooo *DYING* to watch this 24-Hour-TV dorama that's already in my hands.... <333333 to Anego-san who sent me the DVD....!!!! I wrote such a long e-mail to thank her... I hope she doesn't think I'm completely coo-coo for repeating "Arigatou" like 1000x in the entire e-mail! And even a million "Arigatou"s wouldn't be enough to express how thankful I am that she sent me not only the DVD (despite that I can't play it) but she also sent me one photo album of Takki Festa photos (I'll scan when I get a chance!), old shop photos and gazillions of old fanclub concert photos MWAAAA~~~~~~ I almost died out of sheer happiness... xD xD xD xD

You know, I recall once that Takki said since he was young he already knew that he doesn't want to go through life as a salaryman... maybe he thinks life is too monotone that way... hmmm... I guess despite that his work is chotto taihen right now, but it's the kind of work that he truly enjoys ne... I think it takes a lot of sacrifice to become an entertainer and celebrity... you completely sacrifice your personal life and privacy. It's a high price to pay yo...... But anyway... I don't think salarymans breeze in and out of towns like what Takki has been doing though??? Aren't they're mostly just STUCK at their desk??? LOL... Or maybe in Japan its like that? I know some who commute in and out of towns coz they live out of town but they work in the city! Ahahaha~ thats probably what he meant! But LOL~ the way he described himself... When I went home yesterday, I finally went to the supermarket again after so long, then I cooked a meal yo
The menu was stew and soba
Unexpectedly those two don't really match when eaten together wa~
But it was delicious

Uwaaaaaaaa.... he cooked!!! Takizawa Hideaki cooked.... uh...... stew and soba? xD *thud*..... what a weird combination!!! xD But really, I've cooked my share of weird combinations as well... sometimes I kinda miss living by myself, and just going to the supermarket, and whipping up something completely weird (one of my friends came in and said OMG THAT SMELLS DELICIOUS but when he looked at it he said it looked like PRISON FOOD!!!) Kedo.... hontou ni "umakatta" yo! >(^o^)< (yes, thats the exact word that Takki used.... he said his cooking was "umai" but since it was past tense he wrote it as "umakatta") xD

T___T And eating his meal at a PARKING LOT!!! (probably inside the car, had someone buy food for him coz he can't come out else he'll be swarmed???) T____T Isogashisou ne~ but when he said that despite he was eating in a parking lot, but the food was "kekkou" delicious, I felt all tingly! I like how his character seems to be always genki...! I'm a lot like him, I think... even back when I'm lugging my 11 shipping boxes on a dolly to the post office in the midsummer's day by FOOT in four separate TRIPS, it was a fun walk (lug) for me! LOL~ Yokatta ne, Takki... *CHU~* I'm so proud of him! Ngyaaa~

Isn't it cute how he calls his 30 FRIENDS as "yarou" LOL~~~ it's probably equivalent to like nicknaming your close hangout friends as like "those 30 dickheads" or in Indonesian, it's probably like "si dodol dodol itu" or something of the sort... xD I can just imagine the kind of ruckus they create when they're all together!!!!!!

I think that ever since Thailand he had just been running here and there for Yoshitsune... but he was hanging around in Tokyo more because of NTV's 24-Hour-TV stuff..... and after that finally wrapped up, it's all Yoshitsune Yoshitsune Yoshitsune Yoshitsune.... Mr. Yoshitsune rides his horse to Gunma! Mr. Yoshitsune rushes to Yamanashi! Mr. Yoshitsune hayaku go to Shizuoka! Mr. Yoshitsune you are urgently needed in Tochigi!!!! I, on the other hand, is completely SMITTEN all over again in TATSUYA-MODE because I was rewatching Taiyou no Kisetsu thanks again to toro-chan who bought me a better quality Malaysian-subtitled boxset when she was in Kuala Lumpur back in... uh... June? And may I RESET MY JUDGEMENT over this dorama coz when I first watched it, my Japanese sucked even more than it still is today, and the subtitles were very badly translated, and I totally didn't *get* the entire dorama except that it was a very DEADLY-TAKKIFIESTA xD xD xD xD I think I once said that I didn't really like this dorama's plot, but now I think I'm confused...... I don't know if I liked Kisetsu more or Madonna more... Taiyou no Kisetsu is actually a REMAKE from either a movie or a dorama back in the 60s or 70s I believe... so during the start of the airing of the 2002 Taiyou no Kisetsu... the original writer actually recorded a message for Takki, saying something like, Takizawa-kun, onegaishimasu, please take care of my masterpiece or something of the sort...! xD Oh oyaji, you have nooooo idea how much in good hands your character was!!!! LMAO~ But really... it's such a fiesta watching this dorama... plunge into the pool, plunge into the ocean, hadaka~ hadaka~ hadaka~ more hadaka in the shower~ more hadaka on the street when he took off his shirt for that creepy old man to wash... creepy old man should spill ice cream on Tatsuya more often!!! And Takki always looks so TORTURED in the entire dorama... actually, I think Takki pulls off that "tortured soul" look very very well... imho... he's bully material yo! Even as the kawaii Kyon he's still tortured as hell!!! xD But I'm glad he took on this role as Tatsuya, as it is quite an unusual role I think... I'm not even sure if he's the protagonist or the antagonist coz he's so EVIL!!!!!! xD I'm still baffled how he could pull off that EVIL character so well.... (didn't he? sometimes I don't even know if my opinions are biased or what) Such an evil evil glare, and can see it in his eyes when he's thinking evil evil evil thoughts... but then you sort of know that he's not a bad person deep inside, he's just driven to do such horrid things because of the traumatic past he had as a child. And when he's running............

I don't know whether to drool or cry when he starts running. Was it camera tricks, or can Takki run really really really fast???? I think Takki can run quite fast as in the Undoukai, he was once running against daddy-long-legs Nagase Tomoya and he could actually catch up equally... and Takki's team also won the relay race in the 2003 Undoukai. But Tatsuya's running... it's depicted soooo perfectly that you can feel the demons he's running from. And it's like you can feel him agonizing to break free from whatever is binding him by running like hell~ it's a completely different "run" than Kyon yo... despite that Kyon was also running quite a lot in Madonna... but in Kisetsu, you can really see that Tatsuya's FORTE is running (among other things like chuuing) xD
