I was reading
TV Guide last night after I got it, and for some reason I can't help but to end up laughing at some of the things he said
Ooooh Takki Takki Takki... it's true that you just simply give
WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION!
For some odd reason now I can see exactly what Christian Bale meant when he said that he tries to keep the things about himself as Christian Bale (the actor) as discreet as possible from the public or the fans, because he feels that if he revealed too much about himself, it will be a little hard to relate to the characters that he play because then the fans or the audience would just see "Christian Bale" and not as the "character" itself
Although I never really felt that way about Takki
(meaning, I *always* see his many different charactersーKyon, Tatsuya, Eijiーas the characters and not as Takki) which probably means Takki is one hella good actor, and I don't think I'm exaggerating because he really could make his characters differ from one another from being super ditzy but passionate (Eiji) into this dark, troubled anti-hero (Tatsuya) transformed into a kooky, awkward child-like character (Kyon) morphed into a reluctant burdened-by-conscience prodigal son (Kyouichi)... and I see the characters. And don't get me wrong, I *see* Yoshitsune-sama too
It's just that the many times he had revealed way too much of what goes on in his thoughts when he's shooting Yoshitsune just totally cracked me up that whenever I finally get to that scene... I can't take it seriously!
Like for instance... in this edition of TV Guide, this is what he says about shooting the Dannoura scene:
...Sou sou, flying over 8 ships, we shot without using any wires, but Director-san ordered to me: "Please jump a little bit higher." like that. The truth is I'm not Yoshitsune but I'm Takizawa Hideaki, I can't easily accomplish such a request (laughs). Furthermore I'm also wearing the armor ne.......
Anou sa...
Now I'm wondering exactly how the shot would look like from an eye level angle (as opposed to the bottom angle we saw Yoshitsune flying in slow motion towards the background of a beautiful clear blue sky
(which means Director-san had to pick a beautiful day to shoot the flying Yoshitsune-sama scene ne!)
And if you remembered there was actually
A LOT of Yoshitsune flying and somersaulting here and there!
Did he use a stunt double, or is it all really Takkiiiiii?????
But either way now my real question is really
HOW HEAVY IS THAT ARMOR EXACTLY! *ROFL!!!!* I sure hope Director-san didn't make Takki jump that many times without having anything to BREAK HIS FALL (such as maybe a mattress or some soft, inflated thingy for Takki to land on!)
So can you imagine if he had to land *GASP* on the ground with those 30 kg crap on his body?
Then again... I don't think Director-san would risk any scratches or dents on the preciouusssssss Yoshitsune-sama armor desho? I wonder how many sets of those armors exist
*LOL* Sudden random thought.... Yoshitsune-sama and his armor would be a parallel to Batman and his BATSUIT desho?! ROFLOLMAO!!!!!
Never mind me and my baka random thoughts! XD
Anyway, then right after that I saw this thing he said:
Lately when I'm walking along some street, I'd get a lot of people saying to me, "Aa, it's Yoshitsune da!" Yappari, because I've been playing the character, there's this Yoshitsune's image on me now and I'm very happy about it yo.
There's only ONE THING that I wanna know about that particular statement:
WHICH STREET IS THAT, TAKKIDuuuuudeeee... he just said that he
WALKS on some street!!!!
That's the beauty of living in Japan, you'd be able to just accidentally catch him walking around somewhere! (The thing is, with my kind of luck, I'll probably be the last person on earth who'd accidentally bump into him somewhere! LOL)
I'm not sure if he still frequents Roppongi... but I read in
Myojo 9 he said something about there's some pro-wrestling shop in Roppongi and he'd like go there all by himself and he could browse in the shop for like an hour or more!
Hahahaa... that's EXACTLY like us in the Johnny's shop, except we're browsing for HIS PHOTOS plastered all over the wall!
Funny how this universe works... eh? Anyway, back to the whole TOO MUCH INFORMATION bit....
Even though you can't really easily describe the highlight of Dannoura in just one word, but anyway I think it's that last moment where Yoshitsune really shone, and I really want to present that gorgeous moment in its purest. The action too... the scene where I had one-to-one combat with Abe (Hiroshi)-san, it's particularly impressive isn't it? Abe-san is originally a really big person, and he's wearing the armor and wielding a long sword, mou he's really scary desu! (laughs)
BUHAHAHAHAH! OMG Takki....... this boy should just NOT TELL his thoughts at all (or perhaps I should just stop reading any Yoshitsune interviews, period! LOL!)
Well, one thing about Abe Hiroshi (btw he's the dude who plays Tomomoriーwhom Yoshitsune had a head-to-head glittery swordfight with), I can understand that he *DOES* look scary!
I mean, he has fierce eyes, and he's super big and tall
(as opposed to our petite Takki) And even since the first few episodes of Yoshitsune when the boy Ushiwaka and boy Tomomori suddenly morphed into TAKIZAWA HIDEAKI vs ABE HIROSHIーwhen they supposedly only had like... at the most... 5 years difference in age LOLーI already thought that there's something that's
not quite right in the casting! ROFL!!!!!
Like, you have these two characters with not so much age difference but then you have two people portraying them who looks like they have almost ONE GENERATION gap between them!
I dunno if we should blame the casting people, or blame Takki for being so criminally blessed with that eternal FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH?
But reading on what he said in a few of his interviews already on what goes on in his head during Yoshitsune filming is enough to generate one thick volume of Yoshitsune PARODY MANGA already!!!
Like, Frame A: What Yoshitsune looks like during the scene (serious face all looking grrrrr
and all that), and then cut to Frame B: the THUD
thoughts going on inside his head!!! ROFLOLOLMAO! XD
He also said that it was quite taihen shooting the Dannoura scene, most particularly because there were so many ships that needed to be coordinated all at the same time (again, this is something he already said before in his Takiren desho?)
Fufufu I love it that Takiren readers get VIP news on the dot!
Kekekeee... Takki also said that there was some seasickness going on due to shooting for a long period of time on a ship... and he got a little seasick too but he took those anti-seasick pills and it was OK. The one thing that bothered him in the end was his
HUNGER!!!!
WHACK WHACK TAKKI!
then he also mentioned something regarding Ujiki Tsuyoshi being like the snack manager, remember he also said in Takiren before that Jirou (Ujiki Tsuyoshi) had like snacks and ice coffee and all that brought on the ship for everyone?
Hahahaha he's really the MAMA of the Yoshitsune crew neee!!! XD
But speaking of the Yoshitsune crew... I think I will miss them once Yoshitsune ends
They are like... the
SOUL of the show! They manage to exhibit just about every virtue known to humanity: friendship, honesty, loyalty, love, family, courage, sacrifice... and despite being the core characters, they are actually the ones who always provide the most comical reliefs of the showーlike that one time when they huddled together to GOSSIP about their Master Yoshitsune's woes with GIRLS!!!!
*THUD*... and I believe that their friendship extends out off-screen too, because they were together all the time for almost a year now... Takki also says that doing a shoot together for one whole year, it makes time go by like really fast just like that
Which really means that they're having a lot of fun together! You know what they say about time when you're having fun! Yep... it just zooms
away! >.<'''
...being among the Yoshitsune Family Team, we always say, "No matter what we will always smile until the very end!" Even in difficult times we will smile on it, in happy times and in sad times also, we'll go through the story in all its bittersweetness to surely deliver a SUBARASHII ending.
*sniff sniff*
Oh the friendship and the togetherness... just reading it makes me want to bawl happy tearsーjust to know that he truly enjoys and is HAPPY being around his Yoshitsune co-stars makes me feel sooooo happy!
Takki, if you're happy then we're happy too!
And for sure we will be waiting on that
SUBARASHII ENDING
you promise to deliver usーand we
KNOW you'll deliver for sure!
We just have to prep ourselves for the most emotional scene ever in the lives of being a Takki fan: TAKKI'S FIRST DEATH SCENE
